Of course it isn’t really Christmas. But one of the games I played this week was a Christmas game. And I played a Halloween game too.
Play
Star Fox Zero (Wii U)
A few more levels on this, including one with a giant gorilla weapon thing in it, and a mission where as well as blowing up a base using a R.O.B. robot I had to rescue some ladyfox. The controls are not exactly gelling yet, but I’m improving.
Emily is Away (Mac)
A short interactive novel in the style of an old AOL chat client. It was good, but pretty depressing that there appears to be no good – or even halfway happy – ending. I played it through a few times but never managed to get one.
The Quiet Collection (Wii U)
Played and completed all four games in the collection. They were all pretty short and simple, but I enjoyed them.
HYRULE WARRIORS LEGENDS (3DS)
Still working through the new Adventure Mode. It’s very good. But then you knew I’d say that, didn’t you.
Assassin’s Creed Unity (PS4)
I’m back on it! It isn’t a bad game, it’s just perhaps not as much fun as earlier games in the series. I do like it though. I’m finding it tricky to remember I actually have it on the go and play it though. I’m on Sequence 8 now, I think, and if there are 12 sequences as I’m guessing there are, then I’m two thirds of the way through. MATHS.
Want
No Man’s Sky (PS4) has been delayed but that doesn’t stop me wanting it. Lego Marvel Avengers (PS4) has been out a while now and I haven’t bought it, but that also doesn’t stop me wanting it. As for other games? None, really.
Bin
Delays are a pain but I can cope. I’d like to bin being ill yet again though.
Expense
The Quiet Collection was just £1.43 (I still had some cheap eShop credit).
I was also given a free copy of McPixel for the Mac on Steam.
