[...] Many years ago, I played the original Assassin’s Creed. I mostly enjoyed it. It was very good. But, as I said back then: The down points are the annoyingly repetitive fighting (especially later in the game when you have to block every attack and can’t just wade in) and the dodgy sensitivity of the wall running and ledge-grabbing when sometimes you can’t climb up even though you know you can – it just won’t let you, you have to climb down and back up the exact same bit to make it “work”. The way the save points work is irritating too, since it saves for you, but sometimes you still have to go back a fair way if you quit and reload. [...]

Yup, it's got quite a lot in there to do! I'm really frustrated at the moment because I'm missing 1 location in free flight and I just can't find it! Still trying to 3 star all of Platinum to unlock Diamond too. But I've been neglecting the missions to try and find this last location.

I loved this game's gimmick. Tetris Attack is probably my favorite falling block puzzle game. The difficulty goes up to 11 by the time you're 50-60% through, though.

The rabbit can't jump 70cm backwards, it can only jump 70cm forwards. I reckon it can only jump 30cm backwards, maybe 35cm at the maximum, but rabbits aren't designed to jump backwards.

And don't even think about asking if it can jump sideways.

So it's technically not completed then. :P That said, the other characters' stories are laughable and I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. I also completed Sonic's story on the XBLA re-release recently and, like you, performed numerous "homing attacks" straight through the Egg Viper boss before remembering that a long jump works much better.

But yeah, it's still one of the better 3D Sonics out there (admittedly not a massive accomplishment) and the sequel would have been okay too if not for the fact that it was responsible for Shadow The Hedgehog...
