It seems that German website magazine “Cynamite” have been testing the backwards compatibility of the PAL PS3.

The result isn’t good: they tried 12 games, including “must have” titles like God of War, Okami and Guitar Hero 2, and sadly, just one worked – Eragon. Don’t all cheer at once.
