Hey, I am hijacking this post hoping to get some resolution. I actually followed this guide to move my games and save data from my original 4gb card to my new sandisk 64 gb card, but it’s not working.

I use the Nintendo 3DS Transfer option to move all my files to my PC first, and created a backup folder with all my games and data. Then, I formatted my new 64GB card and initialized the data from the 3DS.

After this, I had this structure:

Hex String Folder > Hex String Folder > the folders such as title and data

So using the card reader included with my new 64gb card, I copied and pasted my backup folder into the new card using my PC, where I had then this structure:

2 Hex String Folders > 1 Hex String Folder inside each > folders such as title

One of the Hex Strings was almost empty, for the new initialization, so I moved all the content from the backup into the new folder, replacing everything inside the second hex string folder.

Result: Corrupted data.

I have tried other things such as replacing everything inside the first hex folder, replacing the save files after downloading the games again, replacing the backup and restore files, which actually did recognized for which game they were but were also corrupted.

I am sure that there were no issues when I moved things from my old card to the PC, but now I can’t even play with my old card, as it has a similar issue.

What should I do? I still have my backup folder with all my save files intact on my PC, but I have found no way to make the 3DS recognize them on the new card and I am dreading having to play all my games again to reach to where I was before 🙁

(Sorry for the long post)
