Went and did some drive and approach practice on the Palms practice area. Was crap at the former, and acebest at the latter. Whilst I was in the area, I decided to have a go at the Palms Doubles tournament. It started off much harder than the Marion one, in part because my partner has become a retard for some reason. He actually aims for trees and bunkers. Idiot boy. After three holes, I was on +5 and the leader was on -6. It didn’t look good, but by Hole 9 we were both on 0, and at 13 I was on -2 and the previous leader on +1. I managed to inch ahead a little more (as the other pair slipped behind further) and at Hole 18 I was a fair way (hah!) ahead, and so won. Best!
