I’ve had this for ages, but never really got round to playing it. However, I installed it on my Wii’s hard drive at the weekend so have played it a bit this week.
First of all, it’s violent. Very violent. But it’s so stylised and over the top that it doesn’t feel so bad when you play. It’s not exactly cartoon violence, but it’s certainly not realistic.
The gameplay didn’t gel with me at first. The controls felt clumsy, and the camera difficult to manage. I soon got into it, though, and I’m now past the second boss and it’s only occasional camera wonkiness that’s any sort of burden. Enjoying it!
