By my unborn child! It was amazing! I had my ear to my wife to have a listen (I’ve been able to hear various sounds for a few weeks now), but this time, I got a kick to the face! Yay! Naturally, I kicked it back.

Today we went for the 20 week (well, 20 weeks and two days) scan at the hospital. Thankfully, everything was fine, even though we appear to have a wriggler – it wouldn’t stay still to let the nurse get a proper look! So my most excellent wife and I went to see the midwife today, and all the results from previous tests are fine and everything seems great. Then we got to hear the baby’s heartbeat through a device that looked like it was designed for detecting pipes in walls. It was very exciting!
