Nintendo Promises New Pokemon 3DS Games amid a World Championship Craze

In the beginning of the year, Nintendo promised new Pokemon games and several interesting developments for all fans of the 3DS Nintendo console. Meanwhile, the Pokemon World Championships craze is on the rise due to the expected finale of the event in Hawaii, which will take place during the summer.

New Pokemon Games:
Two new Pokemon developments are expected in the autumn of 2012, Nintendo announced in an official press release. These will complement the upcoming launch of Pokemon White Version 2 and Pokemon Black Version 2.

As the names suggest, these new projects are built on the previous versions – Pokemon White and Pokemon Black. The events in the new editions take place two years after the ones in the originals. The Unova region has underwent some transformations that instantly demonstrate the fact that time has elapsed.

Anyone who owns the Nintendo 3DS console will certainly enjoy the upcoming Pokemon Dream Radar. This is one of the 3DS games developed in a way that makes use of the multiple features of the console including the Nintendo 3DS camera and the augmented reality technology.

Pokédex 3D Pro is another name in the list of upcoming Pokemon 2012 developments. The exciting development in this 3DS game is that you, as a player, will have access to information about every Pokemon in the Unova region, as well as about each Pokemon that is part of the series’ history.

The Pokemon World Championships:

National rounds of the tournament have already taken place in five major European cities, including Birmingham in the UK.

Pokemon were divided into three categories on the basis of age. Participants in the Junior Division have to be born after 2001. Senior Division members are born in the years from 1997 to 2000. The Masters Division is open to individuals born prior 1996.

National champions will take part in the long awaited finale in Waikaloa Hawaii from August 10 to 12, 2012. Invitations to the event are provided in a number of specific ways. The four top participants in the national championship’s each category will receive invites to the final round.

The names of UK’s champions are already known. The youngest UK participant in the finale is the 8-year old Ahren Bundy. Apart from receiving this tremendous chance, the four top participants in each category are also eligible to a number of great Nintendo prices.
