It’s back to Assassin’s Creed this week, as well as a catch-up with some recent PS+ releases.

Assassin’s Creed Unity (PS4)
There’s nothing technically wrong with this, and I am enjoying it, it just isn’t drawing me back for some reason. I don’t think the billions of icons on the map are helping as it all seems a bit overwhelming. To counter this, I’m just sticking to the story for now, and I’ve reached Sequence 11, so not far from the end. Germain’s days are numbered.
Asterix (MS)
I’m happy to report that this is still pretty excellent. I completed it (as Asterix the entire time, bar the compulsory Obelix level), finding it quite a lot easier than I remember. Aside from the Dogmatix bonus level which is nearly impossible.
The Lucky Dime Caper (MS)
I seem to have made it a bit of a mission to play through a load of Master System platformers, and although this was a bit disappointing (compared to the 8bit Mickey games of the same era, anyway), it was still pretty good. And yes, I completed it of course.
NBA 2K16 (PS4)
Free on PS+ this month. It’s not NBA Jam, there are too many controls, and I got bored before the game had even fully installed.
Table Top Racing (PS4)
It’s not Micro Machines. It’s also quite boring.
Switch Galaxy Ultra (PS4)
Yawn.
HYRULE WARRIORS LEGENDS (3DS)
I’ve beaten the boss on the Adventure Mode map, which means I’ve unlocked another Adventure Mode map called The Great Sea or something. This game is huge, and I’m barely scratching the surface. I’ve not even unlocked all the characters yet, and there’s DLC to come!
