After a bit of wandering round, I realised I probably hadn’t completed the dwarf mines bit of the game, so I went back in. Found a Sprite, who conned me out of 100 Gold. Stupidly forgot to play this again yesterday, so I time-travelled back to last night with the intention of visiting K.K. Slider. Still working my way through the Dark Brotherhood quests today. I had to go and kill and old man (who I never even got a chance to see), and then to infiltrate the Imperial City prison to kill a prisoner. This quest was interesting, as I had to go back into the prison the same way that I came out of it at the start of the game, some 100+ hours game time ago. Ace. Then I had to pretend …
After the last of the Mages Guild quest, I was awarded a magic chest which duplicates ingredients. I didn’t bother trying it, though, instead returning to my house in Bravil to dump a load of stuff, and then being told my Dragon Armour was ready to pick up from the Imperial City armoury. Had another long bash today, notching me up to just over 100 hours play! I don’t think I’ve ever had a game rack up that many (recorded) hours before. Excellent. So I went and found Mannimarco, and killed him and all his followers. I got some great stuff on the way, including some boots that give me a 50% protection from fire, frost and shock (which, combined with my Weatherward Circlet gives me 60% for each). Added to my 85% …

This appeared on the Marketplace this week, so I downloaded it this morning and had a play. It’s multiplayer only, and I had a game of 8 vs 8 capture the flag. Well, specimin. Or something. Played this for quite a bit this evening. Managed to get another achievement, but still need to get to 2001 without losing a life, and to destroy 10 bombs in 1910. Both of which seem somewhat hard… I also played against Trousers online. He beat me. Three times. However, I still have the highest score on my friends list (and I’m 44th in the world at the moment), which is far more important. Obviously.
Played, and won, a whole actual tournament today. Hurrah! It seems the best thing to do is just chip away slowly, waiting patiently until you get a good hand and then start betting slow (or everyone folds) and then hook a fish and reel him in. Or something.
Grr. Everyone is after stuff again. Can’t these animals go shopping on their own? Bluebear wants more modern furniture, Kody wants chic furniture, Kabuki wants a shirt, Rodeo (who now says “burgermoo”) wants a shirt, and one of the other animals wants some sort of fish. Time Pilot was on the Xbox Live Arcade downloads thingy today. I have played it a bit before (and actually have a copy of it on Konami Arcade Advanced for the GBA), but I don’t remember it being very good, nor me being very good at it.
