Spent a while picking the rest of the fruit from the trees, and selling them at Nook’s. I have about 200,000 bells left of my mortgage to pay off, and would have done already if I’d got a decent price for my turnips…
Speaking of which, there was no Joan this morning, so I couldn’t buy any more anyway. On the up side, I did get a letter from “mom” enclosing 10,000 bells.
Did a bit of fishing for bells today too, and found a million gongaloids and a few fossils. Tried to visit some other people over t’tinternet, but no-one was about. Visited my animals instead, to find Alice the Koala all packed up and ready to move out. I tried to convince her to stay by beating her with my fishing rod, but I don’t think she’s having any of it.
