As I’m now in the Thieves Guild, I thought it might be an idea to start nicking stuff. I’ve not really stolen much before, so didn’t know where to start. The guy who entered me into the guild wants me to steal 50 gold worth of stuff, and take it so someone in Bruma, before he’ll start giving me proper missions.
Tried to break in to some houses, but was either spotted, or couldn’t get in. I’m a bit of a rubbish thief, then.
Decided instead to try and join the Dark Brotherhood again. Since the bloke at the stables just west of the Imperial City is near to death (following the wolf attack earlier), I thought I’d have a go at him again. He was easy to kill, and no-one spotted me, but I still had a 1,000 gold bounty on my head. Rubbish.
Made my way around the the outside of the city (so as to avoid guards) to the Waterfront where all the thieves are. Hung around waiting for the bloke who could pay off my bounty, and just as he was arriving, a guard attacked me. I jumped on a roof to get away, and then jumped down, taked the the guy, paid 500 gold, and then ran off. I was still chased by the guard though! Thankfully, holding block and talking “yielded” to him, and he stopped trying to kill me and walked off.
So I got away with murder! Now all I need to do is find somewhere to sleep…
