OK, so I improved today. A lot. It seems I hadn’t actually been doing the Thrasher goals much, so had loads of them ready to attempt. Also took part in a Jam session that I easily won, and plenty more photo and video spots too. Here are a couple of today’s bails:
I’m trying to like it. I really am. I do enjoy playing, but all of the challenges are too hard – especially those requiring you to get 700 or more points in one trick (not one line!) which is plainly not possible. Even a nollie’d kickflip 360 backflip grab will get you just 380-ish. Rubbish. Anyway, I have a video that I uploaded this morning:

So I’ve been playing the 360 game Eternal Sonata a lot recently, and now, 17 hours in, I’ve been getting a lot of crashing and freezing. In fact, I can replicate the following every single time: It seems to do it as it’s loading something new in, like a baddie, or a list of items, or some dialogue.Thankfully, I found what appears to be a fix. Like many Xbox 360 games, the problem lies in the data the game caches …
Dr. A, he who reviews all those amazing rip-off game devices (such as the PopStation) is back with another review of some “Tilt Games”. Spot the device they bear no resemblance to at all! Warning: video may contain squirrels.
Take two pens, a Wii remote and projector, and what do you get? Not only an interative whiteboard, but also a great desk-screen thing with multi-touch capability. Now, we pay about £1750 for a board and projector, and this setup will cost, what, £500? And does more? Amazing.
Due to popular demand (that is, one guy on Rllmuk), I’ve taken a few more pictures of the EeePC, in (hopefully) much better quality. And there’s a video of it’s graphical prowess too – a quick clip of it running TuxRacer. Yeah, not the best example… anyway! The photos! And that amazing video: See? Amazing.

This video is actually from 2003, but it’s only recently that I’ve managed to convert it and upload it to Google Video. It’s a clip of a BBC programme called Inside Out, which covers local stories about local people. I was interviewed about Clive Sinclair, and showed off my Sinclair collection.
Quest mode is too hard. FACT. I’ve had a few attempts at it, and I’ve managed a whopping 555 points – which, considering 10th place on the hiscore table is 1000, is pants. I do well in several of the challenges, and then get one where I completely mess up, and I lose almost all my points. Boo.
