Today, I went to Richer Sounds and spent far too much money on some audio kit. I got myself an Onkyo TX-SR605 AV receiver, a set of Tannoy FX5.1 speakers, and some more expensive than expected cables to connect everything up.
I then spent SIX HOURS connecting everything up. SIX. ACTUAL. HOURS. And then, when I tried to put the receiver into my under-the-TV “entertainment centre” unit, it wouldn’t fit. So I had to undo all the cables and fit it in another way. Grr!
And I can’t get my subwoofer to make any noise.
But! Everything else is AMAZING. I can hear cars honking behind me on Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground and everything. And Super Mario Galaxy‘s music? Even more glorious than before.
