That No Man’s Sky is still a thing then. And some other stuff.
Play
No Man’s Sky (PS4)
I will get round to writing a proper diary post about this at some point, but just briefly: I’ve been playing a lot of it, some 65+ hours easily now, and although a while back I decided to just concentrate on the Atlas Path and stop trying to explore every planet – I’ve not been doing that. No, I’ve ended up on a couple of planets with reasonably easy to farm, high value resources, and then made over 11 million units in an attempt to save up for a new ship. Which will be nearer 20 million units. I may be some time. The “boldly going” tagline for this post is a reference to me stumbling across some planets another player had already been to, but they didn’t explore or scan very much.
Catherine (PS3)
This has suddenly got right proper hard now. Thankfully, you’re given billions of lives, but that doesn’t really make it any easier. I don’t know if it’s because I can’t visualise the solutions, or whether things really have gone up a difficulty cliff. I spent over an hour on one single floor the other day!
New StreetPass Games (3DS)
Nintendo released five of these as I mentioned last week, and I snapped them all up! They’re all designed to be quick to play, which is great. The best is the stock market one (despite sounding the most boring), with the slot car one close behind – I had them pegged the other way round last time, but I’ve changed my mind. Then it’s the cooking one, then the exploring one, then the ninja one. But they’re all worth getting.
Pokémon Y (3DS)
I went into a cave, found a fossil and some people from Team Flare (who presumably are bad guys), and then got my fossil turned into some sort of dragondog Pokémon. Still nowhere near the second gym, though.
Pokémon Go (iOS)
I GOT A CLEFAIRY! Also, a rhyhorn. And some other things.
Want
Pokémon Sun and/or Moon, I think. Paper Mario (Wii U), Zelda (NX) and Sonic Mania. There was a new video for Sonic Mania this week. OMGNEED.
Bin
Nothing!
Expense
Oh dear. Well. The thing is, it was on offer. Don’t look at me like that.
Lego Dimensions (PS4) and two fun packs (Jay and Unikitty) – £56.99
