This game has been sat on my shelf for about 18 months now, I think, and I’ve never even opened it. I thought I knew about the game too – jump around as a german woman and shoot robots. Didn’t do too well on this today. Averaged around 650m or so over about ten attempts, although my highest was 884m – not bad. I ran out of air, less than a second before an air tank thing landed on my head. Rubbish. Also rubbish was how well I did on about another ten aborted attempts – losing two lives before 300m, so I restarted each one.
Today’s turnip price was 111 bells. I think, overall, the price has been higher this week (on average) than other weeks. Still rubbish though. Bought a couple of things from Nook, and took a bug and a fossil to the Museum. Went and had a chat with a few animals too. Agent S called me “the bestest person ever!”. Of course. Tried to go out and visit other people, but no-one was online.

I seem to be somewhat addicted to this at the moment. I mostly just played Deluge mode tonight, and mainly only on Forte. Forte is a great planet, because it has pretty high gravity, meaning you can launch a load of blocks upwards and not have them shoot up off the screen. Be clever, and you can have an entire screen full of blocks launching over and over again, until you have a huge multiplier – I managed x21 at …
Just a quick go, and I finished the third track on the first “set” in first place. If you see what I mean. I unlocked “Car Attack” mode then, which I played, and won a car. The Pink Mappy one, in fact. It’s, er, great. I also noticed, while racing to win it, that you can do outrageous powerslides like those in Outrun 2. Which means Ridge Racer DS is now exactly 237% better than I’d thought previously. Hurrah, eh?
