Some years ago, I somehow managed to become editor of one of the first online video game magazines. It was done as a bit of fun by myself and some other people from the uk.games.video.misc newsgroup, but some of our issues were read by over 10,000 people – that’s more than some real magazines wot you buy in a shop. We were even Slashdotted!

Sadly, it became too much work for a hobby, and although we never really had deadlines, issues ended up further and further apart and eventually, it died out. It was fun while it lasted, though, and I’m proud of what we achieved.

In these modern times, PDF files (which we distributed the original issues as) are old hat, and flashy interactive page-turny things are “the rage” in digital media circles, so I converted them all into Issuu magazines, which you can read below.
