Onkyo breaks Wii Virtual Console: The Horror!
Noooo! My lovely shiny expensive sexy audio equipment has a flaw! A nasty horrid flaw! It seems that you can’t play Wii Virtual Console games through it. The picture splits in half, and the left half is on the right and vice versa. Then the screen goes black. And then I can’t use the Home button to bring up the menu, as when I do, the Wii crashes. This is a bit of an update to my post the other day about my new surround sound kit. I’m not an audiophile. I can tell the difference between the radio and a CD, but that’s about it. Today, I went to Richer Sounds and spent far too much money on some audio kit. I got myself an Onkyo TX-SR605 AV receiver, a set of Tannoy FX5.1 speakers, and some more expensive than expected cables to connect everything up. I then spent SIX HOURS connecting everything up.
