I’ve opened up the Bedroom now, and have 28 Weegi stars to my name. I managed to get the wrong star in the Freezeflame Galaxy too, somehow, by going completely the wrong way. I’m pretty sure there were more flying ice blob things and ice bats than with Mario, though. And I was right about Luigi sliding around on the ice more than Mario. It’s like he’s been greased up or something.
Take two pens, a Wii remote and projector, and what do you get? Not only an interative whiteboard, but also a great desk-screen thing with multi-touch capability. Now, we pay about £1750 for a board and projector, and this setup will cost, what, £500? And does more? Amazing.

Well, the ugvm boys were supposedly going to play this tonight. But they didn’t turn up until I’d been hanging around for an hour so I left. Pff. I’d played a few match-making games while waiting, and didn’t lose any (although I didn’t do especially well), but it just isn’t fun when you don’t know the people you’re playing with (unlike Team Fortress 2 which is ace regardless).
Four more stars, taking me to 18 Weegi-stars and 138 stars in total. I’ve also found out today that there isn’t 241 stars overall, but 242. Amazing! Getting used to Luigi’s slippery movement now, but not looking forward to coping on the ice-based galaxies! Oh, and Cosmic Luigi is waaaaay faster than Cosmic Mario, and constantly long-jumps to go even faster. I couldn’t beat him on Honeyhive. Grr.

Not that you’d want to be though, surely? Could you live with yourself if you were that irritating? MTV are advertising for a new presenter, and because it is impossible to get a job these days without going on a TV talent competition, you have to send in a video of yourself “doing the MTV thing”. This probably requires surgical teeth whitening.
Hmm. About a year ago, this PS3 game looked really good, and I was a little jealous that it wasn’t coming out on the 360. Having seen lots more of it now, and realising that the “you’re just some average guy” premise is nonsense, it just seems like a cross between Gears of War and Tomb Raider Legend without actually being as good as either.
