It would appear that Level 7 isn’t the final level at all. Far from it. I managed to complete the remaining five puzzles on Level 6, then all the Level 7 puzzles, and Mario unlocked Levels 8, 9 and 10 for me. More! Not just more either – these are 20×20 puzzles (Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 are 15×15). The first one was clever too – the was a picross of a picross puzzle!

I really enjoyed Puzzle Quest on the DS, but part of what made it so great was the DS itself. People have stopped playing this online already?! It’s been out less than a week! Managed to find just one single game, which was in progress. When it finished, the host didn’t bother starting another game and one by one all the players gave up waiting and quit. As did I. So played Marathon Mode, reaching Level 17 (I think) with a score that puts me at around 7000th in the world. Rubbish!
