Dear Activision,
Now I know we rarely see eye to eye these days. Back in the days of the Atari 2600, you could do no wrong and provided me with so many hours of pleasure with your Pitfall and Frostbite and Keystone Kapers, and two decades later provided me with Tony Hawk – perhaps my most beloved of all non-platforming game series.
Unfortunately, things have become a little tense between us in recent years with the murdering of the the Tony Hawk name (I’m looking at you, Ride and Shred) and the savage beating you gave Guitar Hero. Let us not even dwell on your recent announcements and layoffs, but they make me sad.
You could say our relationship is strained somewhat.
However, I offer to you a pipe of peace. Let us break bread, and make amends. I reach out to you in renewed friendship, and I want nothing in return.
Nothing, except GIVE ME A 3DS REMAKE COLLECTION OF THE FIRST FOUR TONY HAWK GAMES, DAMMIT.
Love,
deKay xx
