Frogger (360)
Hmm. It seems that three people are now ahead of me in my Friend’s Leaderboard. I attempted to recify this by improving my score. I managed a better score (about 15300-ish), but am still a little behind the “leaders”. Bah.

It seems my wife has been playing this rather a lot, so many of the Puzzle Mode and Quest Mode levels have been completed already. Of course, you can go back and do them again. So I did some of the earlier quests, tried the “newest” open one (and failed), tried the second Challenge in that mode (and got to level 69/99, rubbish) and completed a few incomplete puzzles in Puzzle Mode. I played them all with my new DS …
Hmm. The first GP event in this that I played the other day was really easy, and I got first place in each race without a problem. However, the Flame GP is much, much harder. I managed one first place, one third, one last, and two retirements. I think the game must be broken.
Gah! Nook is RUBBISH. I know I’ve said that a lot, but still. He is. And he needs to be shot in the face. Apparently, only gamers shoot people in the face. Anyway. So he offered me 54 bells today, which means I have ten billion turnips to sell and I’m not going to make any money on them this week. Pierce moved out (again) today. I don’t know if I’ve done something to upset him or anything. I haven’t …
To make a change from the Oblivion-gate-a-thon of the Aid for Bruma quest, I decided to get aid from Kvatch, where there isn’t a gate any more (I closed it right near the beginning of the game, remember?). Instead, I had to retake the castle there, and find the count. I had the help of a load of soldiers and stuff, but they were all crap and died fairly quickly. There were some huge new baddies inside the castle too, …
Yet another day of disappointing turnip prices from Nook. Just 63 bells today. Went and had a chat with most of my animals, but it isn’t the same without boy-girl Margie around. Mind you, I have had Pierce and Lobo both return, so there’s a chance Margie might come back in the future…
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Nooooo! Nooooooooooo! Margie has moved out! No warning at all. She was there yesterday, and now, she’s gone. Rubbish. But look! Kody has moved back from Lancre. Great. I wish he was dead. And Nook can just sod off too, with his 64 bells-a-turnip prices. And Redd, with his tent of crap. Bah.
Wow! The boxes! I can’t believe how ACE the boxes for these three games look! They’re all sleek and square and shiny! So, the first three bit Generations games from Nintendo turned up today. They’re cheap, and simple, and “experimental”. And two of the three are sexbest. First up, was Dotstream. It’s a racing game, but you control a line that races other lines. And there’s no accelerate or brake buttons, and you can only steer up and down. But …
Not a lot going on in Cheese today. Nook is buying turnips for 72 bells, my animals are all content and didn’t ask me to do anything (although Margie wanted me to deliver a letter). Bunnie wants me to get a moustache for reasons that can only be evil. She’s a strange rabbit.
Haven’t spent that long on this over the weekend, mainly as Frogger got in the way (who’d have thought that, eh?). Played it for about an hour this evening, mainly just entering and closing the Oblivion Gate outside of Leyawiin. I almost found the “wrong” gate too, as it seemed there were fahzands of them just east of the city. Anyway. It was a pretty long slog through this one, and I completely missed out a tower that I was …
Oh, this isn’t like Burnout at all, is it? It looks exactly the same, only with licenced cars. Played a race, which was pretty dull (no actual Burnouting or Takedowns), and then played a mode where you have to escape from the police, smash through roadblocks and stuff. It was pretty good fun, but the roadblocks seem to be positioned randomly and you appear to have to find them, rather than them just be where you’re driving to anyway. Overall, …
With Skijumptoes leapfrogging (ha!) some people on the leaderboard, and Mike Mentalist close behind him, I was pressed to increase my lead again. And I did – 14880 points to the second place 12,000-ish. Powaz to me.
MAXIMUM TURNIPAGE!!!! I spent over 1,250,000 bells on 95-a-time turnips today. That, well, loads of them. Fahsands. I’ve dumped them all on “hard” ground, filling outside my house, outside Nook’s, outside the museum, and loads of the ground outside the town hall. Aces. Now I just hope I can sell them at a profit… Frobert asked me today if we could buy matching gym clothes and walk around together. Then he touched my bottom.
We also played this. It seems that in 4-player mode you get some extra rounds not available in the 2-player game, which was a little confusing. Unfortunately for my co-players, I won this too. Sorry, and everything. My prize was Tokyo. Yes, all of it.
Played this round a friends’ house. It was the first time I’d played in four player mode, and it is a bit more frantic with more on you on the buzzers. I was losing after the first two rounds, but the last few rounds completely turned the tables and I ended up winning. My prize? A desert island!
