I do love the SteamWorld series of games. And the world they’re all set in. Viva Pinata: Giving children nightmares

If you’ve been reading my gaming diary, you’ll know I got a copy of Viva Pinata for the Xbox 360 this week. It’s the same sort of game as Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, and is written by Rare. It’s also very cute. There’s a TV cartoon series to match too, so it’s clearly mainly aimed at kids. Which is why I bought it, obviously, since I am a child. Or not. Anyway. Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

Just a brief play today. I have a new resident – Gladys the bird thing. She didn’t have a lot to say as she was unpacking. Buck seems to have vanished. His house is still there, but he’s not in it or anywhere else in the town. Aliens, probably. Either that or Nook has sold him for glue. It wouldn’t surprise me. I was only offered 55 bells today for my turnips too. He’s evil, is that racoon.
