Brain Age (DS)
Most of the results were an improvement over yesterday, although I didn’t set any more records or anything. Overall, another 20. That’s 15 in a row now.

Played through most of World 6 picking up Star Coins. I have all of them on that world now, bar the final one on the last castle. I’m pretty sure I know where it is, but can’t seem to jump high enough to get to it. I think I need to do some sort of triple jump, but there isn’t the space to do it.
Since today is Munkie Day (no really – it is), I thought I should honour it with an inaugoral play of Super Monkey Ball. And, since my DS is the consol de moment, what better than Touch and Roll? Which, as I now recall, is too sodding hard. I have the Volcano World, on which I get stuck on level 7 or 8, and then Ice World where I got to level 9 or 10, and lost 16 lives. It’s …
Just the test today, and I managed 1304g. The distribution chart gave me the brain of a decorator (or something equally stupid), and I went up a grade from B- to B. Brain the size of a planet, me. Or is that plant?
What a surprise! 20 again today! However, almost all of my trial scores were slightly lower than yesterday, prompting many “A little tired, are we?” comments from Dr. Deformed Head. I blame the heat.
New animal day! Well, sort of. Jay moved in, but I’ve had Jay before. Only not this Jay. I suspect he came from my wife’s town, but was originally from somewhere else as he mentioned a place I’d never heard of. Turnips were 87 bells today. I didn’t sell. Katrina was about, and I had my fortune told. Caught a moth, and was bitten by a mosquito. Finally gave Bunnie some medicine, and gave some animals more furniture. Kody is …
Well, as much as the game can be, I suppose. I’ve got all Gold Medals in all games in all difficulties. Wot makes me a winnar. The Memory games were a bit of a sticking point (Flash Memory in particular) and a spent ages trying to succeed on them. No more Platinums though, sadly. 1200g-ish today too, but I’m still B-.
TWEEEENTY!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! Of course, I’ve been 20 so many times now, it seems to have lost much of it’s impact, but anyway. Didn’t do that many trials today though, but I did complete another sudoku puzzle. I’m 24% complete on them now, I think.
Most of this morning’s play was taken up with buying turnips for 97 bells each. I picked up 800 bells’ worth of them. Aside from that, and doing a load of weeding (no idea why there are so many weeds today), I chatted with the animals and gave out more furniture. Still no sign of a jester shirt, however, and I forgot again about giving Bunnie some medicine. Might be time for rabbit stew, I think.
Much of my play today involved bumping up my Gold Medal count. And then, I found that there was actually a Platinum medal too, since I won one. Gah! So even if I’ve ACEBESTed them all and got gold, that’s not the best there is? I’m struggling on the Memory games. I’m just not capable of remembering things for more than five milliseconds. Also did the Test again, and got another 1200-odd score, and I now have a B- grade. …
Guess what? 20! That’s, uh, loads of days in a row now. Am I a Grand Master at this yet? I’ve pretty much flatlined all the tests too, with only slight zigzagging these days. Apart from Reading Aloud, of course, where I’m all over the bloody place due to the stupid bloody software not being able to keep up.
Luckily, turnips were being bought for 138 bells today. OK, so it isn’t a huge improvement on what I paid for them, but I did still make a reasonable profit by selling what I had left. Spent a while finding furniture for my animals, and meant to buy Bunnie some medicine but forgot. I hope she doesn’t die. Camofrog, on the other hand, can die if he likes. He upped and left me today. After saying I was his bestest …
And a quick go on this too. Just did the test, and nothing more, and ended up with a weight of 1205g. That’s better than yesterday by quite some way!
A quick go on this too, playing just three of the trials, and then doing the Brain Age test. Despite rushing it all, I still managed another Age of 20. ACES.
The briefest of brief plays on this today due to seriously restricted game-time. I played just long enough to check Nook for turnip prices, and found he wanted just 37 each for them. Thieving scum.
