Yet another successful day on Brain Age. Managed two more top-threes in the training, and another one and two near-misses in the Brain Age test itself. Overall Age for today? 20, of course!

Only a brief play this evening – enough to get my mail (which included a model of Nookingtons – my “prize” for reaching Platinum status, along with 20% off everything), have a visit from Bunnie (it’s a Flea Market day and I went inside my house), and then go over to the Museum to see K.K. Slider. He played K.K. Rockabilly for me today. It was ace.

Extensive play today took me up to over 51 hours gametime. That’s like, forever. Or something. I’m certainly not going to explain everything I’ve done today, but here’s a bit of a synopsis: I summoned my skeleton, then killed it, over and over to get souls, with which I enchanted a few more things, making a full 22% shield at all times. I didn’t actually do all that much today, even though I played for over an hour. I started by warping to Imperial City, and entered the Arcane University. After talking to some bloke there, I was promoted to Apprentice, and gained 10 more Gamerpoints (570 now) and another Achievement. Another “Long Game” this evening, again against my wife. I won again, mainly because I kept guessing all the questions I knew she’d know the answers to, essentially stealing her points. ACE!

Since I was in Anvil anyway, and Crowhaven was just a short walk away, I decided to follow up the Grey Prince’s quest, and find out about his parents. Worked my way through the dungeon of Crowhaven, and killed Lord Lovidicus. Found his diary, and then worked my way out. I took a wrong turn on the way to the exit, and found myself being attacked by a Vampire Knight. Erk! I’d heard that catching Vampirism was a Bad Thing, …

Not much to say about my scores again today, except for the fact that they were all pretty good, and overall I managed another Brain Age of 20, getting just a whisker from the bottom of each of the three scoreboards. No “8 is not 6 or 2” issues today, either.

What a day for new stuff in Cheese! It was chucking it down, so I thought (once I’d done my “chores”), that I’d go fishing for the first time in about two months, mainly in the hope I’d get a coelacanth. Played another “episode” with my wife this evening, and chose the long game. This made each of the rounds longer than in the short game (as you’d expect), but also added some more rounds. I won. ACES.

I started the game at Weatherleah, and decided to head to Skingrad to progess the Nirnroot quest, as I had enough of the herb to do so, and it was just a quick cross-country job south from where I was. It didn’t take more than a few minutes, but I found both a wayshrine and an Oblivion Gate along the way. Erk.
