Oekaki Puzzle Battle (DS)

Completed two more each on Hard and Super Hard. One of each was really easy, with loads of 9 and 10 rows and columns, but the other one of each were both pains having not much in the way of complete or end rows to work from. Got my lowest Super Hard score so far – 88. Rubbishness.

Taito Legends 2 (Xbox)

This arrived today (along with a copy of Project Gotham Racing 2, which I already own), so I thought I’d have a quick play and see what games are on there. Played Cameltry, Bubble Bobble Memories, Pop ‘n Pop, Space Invaders DX, some isometric fighting game, and a few others. Of course, Bubble Bobble Memories was the superacebestest of the lot.

Brain Age (DS)

My results today were a little disappointing, most of them being slightly lower than previously. Perhaps I wasn’t concentrating or something. I had problems readng too fast for the Reading Aloud test too, which is annoying. Worst of all, my Brain Age was 26. Pah.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360)

I’m now about 31.5 hours in to this huge, huge game. And I still haven’t even scratched the surface. Firstly, I quick-travelled to Imperial City, found the guy with the staff I needed, and brought it back to Bravil. I took it to Kud-Ei at the Mage’s Guild, who has now sent a recommendation to the Arcane University. I wandered around Bravil some more, and found a few items that I wanted to sell. I stupidly jumped off the roof …

Brain Age (DS)

Unlocked Hard Mode on Triangle Maths today, for getting 17 stamps, it seems. Why 17, I have no idea. Managed to break a couple of records in Training Mode, including Calculations x100 (even though I got one wrong!), which was pretty good. Even better was my Brain Age for the day – 20 again! ACES.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360)

Since I was in Bravil (I wish I could stop reading that as Breville – I keep thinking about sandwich toasters) anyway, I thought I might as well explore. And sell everything in the Mage’s Guild shop back to the shopkeeper, as it let me take them and do so. That made me a tidy sum! I’ve opened up several new quests too – I have to find a Mage Staff, owned by the woman in the guild shop and …

Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

Turnips were 108 bells each today, and I didn’t feel like spending quite as much as I usually do on them, so only forked out about 450,000 bells. Also got another red turnip (although they’re starting to fill my house, as Wendell rarely visits Cheese, it seems). My wife came over too, to give me one of my two remaining fossils, and also to speak to my animals (including refugees from her town Nan the Goat and Rocco the Hippo, …

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360)

Found an Inn in the Market District and paid for a bed. Lo and behold, I was woken by a man in a black habit. He told me to go to the Inn of Ill Omen, south of the Imperial City (and en-route to Bravil) and kill an old man there named Rufio. Upon doing so, I would be able to join the Dark Brotherhood. The going-to-sleep thing raised me to Level 5 as well, so I spent my “points” …

Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

With the day running out, and no-one online to save me, I gave in and sold my turnips to Nook for 108 bells each. I was a bit sad, but at least I made a little profit (about 100,000 bells overall), so it’s not like I’m out of pocket. It all begins again tomorrow anyway! Realised then that it was almost K.K. O’Clock (8pm, Dog-fans), so chatted with my animals until that time came around before heading over to Brewster’s …

Oekaki Puzzle Battle (DS)

Just two more puzzles today – a Hard and a Super Hard. One of the “squares” in the Super Hard one was a pain – there were not many bits ot fill in, so all the rows and columns were like “2 1 1” or “1 1”, which makes things pretty difficult. Anyway. That’s now 38% of the game complete.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360)

As I’m now in the Thieves Guild, I thought it might be an idea to start nicking stuff. I’ve not really stolen much before, so didn’t know where to start. The guy who entered me into the guild wants me to steal 50 gold worth of stuff, and take it so someone in Bruma, before he’ll start giving me proper missions. Tried to break in to some houses, but was either spotted, or couldn’t get in. I’m a bit of …

Brain Age (DS)

First of all, I should point out that I managed to get a Brain Age of 20 again today! That’s my third one! Secondly, I did worse in each of the three tests than I did yesterday. When I got an age of 22. Confusion abounds!

Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

Gah! It’s Saturday morning and Nook will only give me 72 bells for the ten million turnips I bought this week. I haven’t had a decent sellage day at all this week, with 116 on Wednesday being the highest price so far. I’d better have something decent this afternoon, or hope someone else does and opens their gates, or I’m in trouble. Made 120,000 bells from fruit today, which takes my post office account up to around 7,800,000 bells again. …

Brain Age (DS)

Now I’m completely confused as to how your age is worked out. I play the same three games each day when it comes to the calculation, and today I beat my personal best in both Connect Maze and Number Cruncher (I beat my previous best Connect Maze score by a good 23 seconds too – from 59 to 36), and came second on the leaderboard for Calculations x20 with 24 seconds (first place being 22). I didn’t make a single …
