After the last of the Mages Guild quest, I was awarded a magic chest which duplicates ingredients. Had another long bash today, notching me up to just over 100 hours play! I don’t think I’ve ever had a game rack up that many (recorded) hours before. Excellent. So I went and found Mannimarco, and killed him and all his followers. I got some great stuff on the way, including some boots that give me a 50% protection from fire, frost and shock (which, combined with my Weatherward Circlet gives me 60% for each). Added to my 85% …
Played for quite some time today. Spent a while wandering round, and went to Bruma and bought some new spells. Also bought some new armour, and then enchanted it. I have 85% shield at all times now, as well as a 20HP health bonus! Aces. This appeared on the Marketplace this week, so I downloaded it this morning and had a play. It’s multiplayer only, and I had a game of 8 vs 8 capture the flag. Well, specimin. Or something. Played this for quite a bit this evening. Managed to get another achievement, but still need to get to 2001 without losing a life, and to destroy 10 bombs in 1910. Both of which seem somewhat hard… I also played against Trousers online. He beat me. Three times. However, I still have the highest score on my friends list (and I’m 44th in the world at the moment), which is far more important. Obviously.
Played, and won, a whole actual tournament today. Hurrah! It seems the best thing to do is just chip away slowly, waiting patiently until you get a good hand and then start betting slow (or everyone folds) and then hook a fish and reel him in. Or something.
Grr. Everyone is after stuff again. Can’t these animals go shopping on their own? Bluebear wants more modern furniture, Kody wants chic furniture, Kabuki wants a shirt, Rodeo (who now says “burgermoo”) wants a shirt, and one of the other animals wants some sort of fish. Time Pilot was on the Xbox Live Arcade downloads thingy today. I have played it a bit before (and actually have a copy of it on Konami Arcade Advanced for the GBA), but I don’t remember it being very good, nor me being very good at it.
