Another extensive play session today, as shown by my game save’s time of over 64 hours. Again, I did far too much to go into everything, but I managed to gain three ranks in the Mage’s Guild (I’m now a Conjurer), and another rank in the Thieves’ Guild. The Thieves’ Guild task was pretty simple, involving taking a secret passage from Bravil Castle to a tower, to obtain a special arrowhead for the Grey Fox. The passage was partly flooded …
Just the test again today, and again my (usually most proficiant) skills in Calculate were somewhat depleted again, with it being the weak link in the overall score. I got 1350g (or thereabouts) which was good, but not as good as yesterday!
Did quite a bit better in my tests today, compared to yesterday, but still not up to my usual level (except in the Calculations ones – did quite well there). Again, my Brain Age was yet another 20. That makes 20 days of consecutive 20s. I’m only a few days off two months worth of daily training too!
Turnip day once again today, and I bought 860,000 bells-ish worth of them for 102 bells each. Again, I filled the space outside my house, Nook’s, the museum, and had to drop some outside the town hall. Aside from that, I gave out more shirts to animals that wanted them, and spoke to most of the residents of Cheese. Bought a couple of items from the shop that I hadn’t seen before, just to add to my catalogue, and caught …
Only did the Test on this today, and since I haven’t done it in a few days, I was worried I might mess it up. I didn’t, though, and got a weight of 1513g – my highest so far! That netted me a B+ grade too. Excellent.
Did really badly at the tests today – 24 seconds for Calculations x20, 3/5 for Head Count, 10.2 for Syllable Count. Rubbish. Did, however, get my 19th consecutive Age of 20 though. Hurrah!
Time to see K.K. Slider, who played me K.K. Jazz. Also sold all my turnips, as it was my last chance to do so, to Nook for just 50 bells each. Oh well. At least I still made a hefty one million bell profit overall! Visited a few animals too, but they didn’t want me to do anything for them.
Far too much done today to write about here. I’ve now been playing for over 60 hours! Most of my quests today were to do with the Thieves’ Guild. I was “promoted” once along the way, and did lots of walking through the countryside. Found another 4 Oblivion Gates along the way too. Worked my way through to another area today, and had to fight a huge boss thing. There were blue lights on this big pillar thing that I had to shoot, while lasers were fired at me. After a few hits, a crystal thing pops out of the top for a bit and shoots me, and then it starts over with a different laser pattern. Luckily, it was pretty easy. Ta-dah! 20 again! Did really poorly at the Reading Aloud (10.7! Rubbish!) and wasn’t so hot on a couple of other tests, but it’s the Brain Age that counts, and on that I was ACES. So there.
Still working through World 4 collecting coins. Although I only completed two levels with all three coins, I have collected one or two in each of the other levels. I’m completely lost as to how to get the third coin in the Ghost House, as well as a couple of other coins that I can’t even see, let alone get to. Well done to Nintendo for making a game that’s easy and bloody hard with only one difficulty setting!
