An episode of The Simpsons where Bart and Lisa never existed
The episode begins with the Simpson family sitting on the couch, watching TV as usual. Marge is knitting, Homer is eating a donut, and Maggie is playing with her toys. Suddenly, the screen goes fuzzy and the picture starts to flicker. The family looks at each other in confusion.
Marge: What’s going on?
Homer: I don’t know, but I think we’re in trouble.
Maggie: (gurgling) Goo goo ga ga.
Suddenly, the screen goes completely black and the sound of static fills the room. The family looks at each other in fear.
Marge: Oh no! What’s happening?
Homer: I don’t know, but I think we’re in big trouble.
Suddenly, the screen comes back on and the family sees a strange, alternate version of themselves on the TV. They are all drawn in a different style and they look confused and scared. Marge and Homer are the only ones on the couch.
Marge: (pointing at the TV) Look! That’s us!
Homer: (staring in shock) But…but that’s impossible! We’re not like that!
The family looks at each other in confusion and fear. They start to realize that something is very wrong with their world.
Marge: (confused) Wait, where are Bart and Lisa?
Homer: (stunned) I don’t know, but they’re not here.
Marge and Homer start to panic and search the house for Bart and Lisa, but they are nowhere to be found. They try to call their friends and family, but no one has heard from them. They start to fear that something terrible has happened to their children.
Marge: (crying) Oh my God, what happened to Bart and Lisa?
Homer: (frantic) I don’t know, but we have to find them!
As the family continues to search for answers, they start to notice other strange differences in their world. The town of Springfield is different, the Simpson family house is different, and even the TV shows and movies they watch are different. They realize that their entire reality has been altered and they are trapped in a strange alternate universe.
Marge: (desperate) We have to figure out what’s happening to us! We can’t be trapped in this alternate reality forever!
Homer: (angry) I know, I know! We have to find a way to fix things and get back to our normal lives!
The family continues to search for answers, but they are trapped in their alternate reality. They start to panic and despair, realizing that they are doomed to be trapped in this strange world forever.
Marge: (crying) We’re never going to find Bart and Lisa! We’re going to be trapped in this alternate reality forever!
Homer: (determined) No, we can’t give up! We have to find a way to fix things and get back to our normal lives!
The episode ends with the family still searching for answers, determined to find a way back to their normal lives and undo the changes that have been made to their world.
Interestingly, Lisa’s removal means Maggie gets to fill her spot in the dialogue. And, with her missing, the rest of the family have noticed. So we’ll take Maggie away next…
