So I bricked my Wii last night. To cut a long story short, I’d attempted to download the updated shop channel using WiiSCU to bypass the homebrew-stomping Nintendo System Menu 4.2 update, and now it’s bricked. Bah. Last week, there was an update for the 360. It was supposedly innocuous, simply providing the groundwork for some features not yet accessible. It wasn’t supposed to do anything to the system.
