Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

Crazy Redd actually had some stuff I wanted to buy today. Picked up a nice painting, although I now realise I have’t checked to see if it’s a fake or not, and also a well, since I hadn’t seen one of them anywhere. Bluebear was after even more furniture today, so I obliged with a modern sofa. Rodeo is still looking for a prism shirt, but I still haven’t seen one in the shop. Kabuki is trying to move out …

Outpost Kaloki X (360): COMPLETED!

I completed scenario 14 with just one minute to spare. Hurrah! That turned out to be the last scenario in the Adventure Story, and so I got the completely hatstand end of game sequence, and then it was all over. Well, all over except for the other scenarios, of course. I tried the Survival scenario, and got a Silver time of 14:36. I’m betting a Gold time was 15:00. That’d be about right. I then had a go on a …

Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

Didn’t play for very long again today – just enough to talk with my animals, make sure no-one had moved out (they hadn’t), give Bluebear even more furniture, buy some clothes I didn’t have already (and gave a shirt to Frobert), and do some weeding. Caught a few insects too, but it seems I already had them all in the museum. Tch.

Amped 3 (360): COMPLETED!

Rather fittingly, the game kind of snowballed to a finish. The mountains got smaller and smaller, the number of things required to be done to progress the story became fewer and fewer, and then, Act V lasted all of about five minutes. But the ending was GENIUS. I won’t spoil it, but it was a Giant Musical Finale. And the very last “thing” you have to do is suitibly epic, complete with epic music and stuff. Aces.

Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

First off, a bit of time travelling. I was out last night so couldn’t visit K.K. Slider then, nor could I “enjoy” the fireworks, so I put the clock back and did that. K.K. played me K.K. Bossa, and I got more roman candles and sparklers from Tortimer. Coming back to today, and Bluebear had had a change of heart and decided to stay. She wanted even more furniture, though. Frobert wanted clothes, which I supplied, and Rodeo is after …

Metroid Prime Hunters (DS)

Hmm. I haven’t played this in ages and appear to be lost. I landed on Lava Land (or whatever it is called) and warped back to the last bit I’d got to. There was a locked door, so I backtracked a bit, found a new route, and opened the locked door from the other side. Erm. That means I have no idea where to go. I thought maybe I needed to go back to the Celestial Archive, but there was …

Amped 3 (360)

Worked my way through most of (well, a lot of – I think I’m almost there) Act III on this today. I have about half of the mountains unlocked now. The story is nuts. The cutscenes were obviously created when on drugs. The challenges are bizarre. I love this game.

Outpost Kaloki X (360)

Ripped through a few more levels today, reaching level 14 (which I’ve now found out is the final level). None of them seemed that difficult, although Level 11 was completed with just seconds to spare. Level 14 is a nightmare, however. You have to build a Jewel Exchange and a Dance Club, both of which are easy to do. However, you then need to make $50,000, which just doesn’t seem possible in the given time. I managed to get to …

Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

Not a great deal to do in Cheese today. Did the usual bits, weeding, fossil digging, as-yet-unbought-item buying, and talked to my animals. Frobert didn’t move out, although I sort of wish he had, really. However, Bluebear was trying to leave today. I tried to convince her to stay, as she hasn’t given me her picture yet. She’s a selfish cow (uh, or bear) though, as I’ve given her all that stuff and she’s clearly not returning the favour. So …

Outpost Kaloki X (360)

Completed levels 9 and 10 this evening, without any problems. Yeah, so I’m only get Bronze times, but it’s waaaay to hard to go for golds. Besides, apparently theres a bug in the game making it impossible to get all of the golds (and therefore all of the game’s achievements), so it’s not worth trying.

Pac-Man (360)

Rubbish. SomethingWitty has beaten my score, and now sits at 19870 points. I spent a while working through a few more rounds, then decided to take on his score. After about ten attempts, the best I’d managed was 19770 – just 100 points short. That’s just ten more dots. Bah. However, roberthazelby on my friends list has over 70,000, so I took some solice in that.

Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

More Modern Furniture had arrived for me to give to Bluebear today. I wonder if she’ll actually stop asking for it now? I must have gieven her about 5 items, so I expect a picture some time soon… Not a lot else going on in Cheese today. Apparently there’s another firework display tomorrow night, according to my notice board. I say my first scorpion today too, and even though I saw it before it saw me, I mis-swung my net, …

Pac-Man (360)

Hurrah for two things! Firstly, I unlocked two more achievements, leaving just three to do. Secondly, and most importantly, I whipped SomethingWitty’s score by many thousand points. I hope he cries like a little girl. Which I imagine he is anyway.

Amped 3 (360)

Gosh. Remember this? I played it a while ago. Well, I’ve got back into it. Pushed through on the story a bit, getting onto Act III on a new mountain. Have done some of the challenges and media callouts, and have “found” the yeti. I’ve now started doing some challenges for some woman on a poster. Yes, really. Complete with scary male fairy things. Hmm. Drugs are bad, m’kay?
