More brain “fun” today. Did about half of the tests, and did pretty well on them all. No “8 issues” today either, which was good. But you don’t care about that, do you? All you want to know is How Old Is My Brain(TM) isn’t it? 20! Hurrah!
No problems on the daily training tests today, and in fact, I managed to get a new high score on one of them. I don’t bother doing all the tests each day now, I just do at least half of them, and vary which ones from day to day. My Brain Age was, once again, 20. That’s 4 days of 20 in a row!
Hurrah! Another day, another Age of 20! I’m still having issues with 8s though. Sometimes it doesn’t seem to recognise them at all, even though I draw them in almost exactly the same way every time. Some people have said I draw them backwards, that is, I start and the top and go left, not right. I don’t see how that is backwards, but anyway.
Did my daily run-through of all the tests again, doing especially crap on Reading Aloud. Managed a few new 2nd and 3rd placed records though, which is rare these days. However, on Calculations x20 in the actual Brain Age test, the DS simply refused to recognise me drawing an 8. Once again managed to be pretty successful at the tests today, although my Reading Aloud score was a bit crap. I don’t take much notice of the score for that test though, as it’s always artificially lowered by me anyway, as the DS can’t keep up with my real reading speed and Dr Wossisface complains I’m going too fast. And today’s Brain Age? 20!
No problems with the tests again today, and even beat another score. Didn’t bother with all of them, but only missed out two (Calculations x100 and Syllable Count). Today’s Age, however, was a slightly disappointing 23. I mis-counted one of the questions on Number Cruncher, I think.
Didn’t really have a lot of time today, so I didn’t bother doing all of the tests. Managed the Calculations x20, Triangle Math(s) (on which I beat the top score), Reading Aloud, Head Count, and a couple of others. Then I did the Brain Age test, and managed to get another Age of 20! BEST.
Although I managed to completely mess up Time Lapse today (getting a time of almost three minutes), mainly due to mixing up the big and little hands in some kind of primary schoolchild way, I did pretty well overall. My best score was on Syllable Count, where I managed to finih it in 36 seconds. It was the only scoreboard I wasn’t at the top of, with the previous best being 42 seconds or so. ACES. To top it all …
Another day, another brain workout. It was having problems recognising the number 8 in many of the tests during today’s session, which made my times in Calculations x20 a bit rubbish, and as a result my overall Brain Age was 24. OK, so better than yesterday, but I want more 20s! Pah.
Didn’t play all of the training thingies today, as I didn’t have a huge amount of time, was a bit tired, and since they’re all unlocked now it can take a fair while to get through them all. My age for the day, however, was 25. Bah.
Mr Brain Doctor Man reminded me it was my birthday tomorrow. As if I’m some kind of idiot and didn’t know. I’m clearly not any kind of idiot, as I regained the Brain Age of 20 crown today! ACES. Completed a couple of sudoku too.
Did pretty well today, getting in the Top 3 for most of the tests. Messed up Head Count though – sometimes it is difficult to tell if it’s 4 entering the house, or 5. Or 6. Anyway. My Brain Age was 21 (even though I topped two of the scores again), so I’m still not sure what’s going on. Completed another sudoku too.
Was very successful in all my tests today, managing to get in the top three, or tie with 3rd place, in almost all of them. Almost every single graph showed an upturn from yesterday as a result, which was good. Made a mistake on Time Lapse (I got the little and big hands confused like a stupid child), but it netted me second place anyway. Really pregressing with Triangle Math(s) too – it’s getting pretty easy now (although the (x+y)-(y-z) …
Aside from “TWO” being recognised as “NINE” in Voice Calculation, I didn’t have much in the way of problems today. At least, not in terms of actual scores. I did have a HUGE problem with (once again) Reading Aloud – it took me more than 20 attempts to get the thing to actually allow me to read it, as it kept complaining I was reading too fast. Bah.
