Batman: Arkham City

Aside from the VERY exciting 3DS release (10 days away!!) there are only two games this year I’m looking forward to. One is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which I am currently on Media Blackout from as I don’t want any spoilers or anything – I want to play it without knowing a thing about it. Massive 128K Memory

Look at this amazing 1984 advert featuring a very energetic Sir Clive Sinclair jumping over the QL’s closest (and more popular, though more expensive) rivals – the IBM PC, the Apple Macintosh and the BBC B (no, really). £698 for a QL? Bargain! That’s about £1700 in today’s money. Compare that with the £3325 PC (£8300!).

Kinect is out today!

Remember folks, if you’re getting Kinect today, don’t forget you need a warehouse to play it in, otherwise this might happen! Of course, this could be easily solved – just like Nintendo did with the Wii – by encasing the controllers in protective silicone. (video via @thebeamish)

Top 10 Mega Drive Games

Of every games console or computer I’ve ever owned, the Sega Mega Drive is probably my favourite. It was my first console, and the one I own most games for. It also saw me through most of university, despite the N64, Saturn and PS1 all having just come out – I obviously didn’t have any money to buy them.
