I was surprised that, despite having a baby at Christmas last year, I was still able to play games in 2009. It seems babies sleep! Of course, you have to go down the well outside, don’t you? Had a quick look in there and decided it could wait for another time. Saved and quit for now.

My Wii U arrived! So I spent most of the weekend playing it and the games I got with it. Nintendo Land It’s not a minigame collection. No matter who tells you it is, it isn’t. These mock-ups of some recent games as they might appear in the 80s and 90s are amazing. And not just amazing – in many cases they’re actual games I’d really want to own. I also like how they’ve been imagined – Bayonetta as a bullet-hell shooter, and Brutal Legend as a point-and-click adventure game. I’d like SNES Pikmin and Super Mario Sprint  made first, please!
